Hi, this is my blog. I made it myself with my computer. My name is Nathan Williams and I (select as appropriate): design digital brand experiences for big companies, do digital strategy / planning, advise on global / region / local ‘digital presences’, design ‘best of breed’ customer experiences… (which sounds all wank, though mainly I do PowerPoints and talk a lot, loudly). I work for Sapient mega award winning WPP agencey The Partners. In my spare time I like to take photos and eat in nice restaurants. I live in London, England. I am 37 38 39 years of age and I am an Aquarius. I am not single. I like the Hip-Hop music and obscure Belgian Techno that makes milk come out of your nose. I also like pork based products, a lot. I have a lovely daughter two gorgeous daughters (and a son on the way) so don’t get out much. I am from Welsh Wales, though don’t sound like I am, and have a beard, though not in any related way. People think that I am generally miserable, but inside I’m LOLing.

Simiant?

Simiant.com started life a long time ago as a spoof of the first ‘Web Agencies’ who all had odd names that sounded the same, now it’s a blog. Anyway, here’s the reasoning behind the name:

Monkey = Simian
‘Best of breed enterprise level e-commerce solutions’ = Sapient, Scient, Viant (look them up)
l33t web monkey: simian +(Sapie)nt (Scie)nt (Via)nt = SIMIANT

It was funny at the time anyway…
