Um….. can’t quite get Second Life to work (you know, for research purposes), on a brand new Mac Book Pro 15″ (the higher end model of the two). Basically if my avatar starts walking, after a while, he wont stop, as if the keys / mouse are stuck. Any ideas? can’t find anything about this anywhere?…

I can never quite get SL to work for me. Mostly I walk around with my head on one side, as though my neck’s too weak to hold it up, in a scopey kind of way.
Also, the people I meet in SL freak me out somewhat. And the miles and miles of empty space with occasional areas of massively over-developed (but unpeopled) urban-future landscape. Horrible. Just horrible.
There, I’ve said it.
