I also have the same problem. There is no possibility to connect to website. In former days (about one week ago) everything was perfect. I downloaded 5 movies without any problems. Fast download, good price and actual movies.
Does anybody know a solution for the connection problem?

I also payed $30 and got $10 free. I downloaded four movies and burned one of them with no problems. All played fine on the computer (Macbook). Unfortunately, for the last three days, I have been unable to connect to the Moviefiesta website. Their server does not respond. I hope I didn't get ripped off!

I signed up as I also received a spam barrage a few weeks ago. (I am sure the site is related to mp3fiesta which I regularly use.)

I have been able to successfully download approx 20 of the latest movies for my ipod. The quality (ipod version) is fine as long as you only plan to watch on ipod classic size screen max (quite grainy on ipod touch).

I had no problems downloading on my imac except for Stardust (no obvious reason why, eventually successfully downloaded on PC).

When I went to top-up my account I was asked for my credit card details (again) and my home address. I this point I decided not to add anymore credit as I was a bit worried this was all “too good to be true”. I would be fascinated to know if anyone has had any problems with their credit card.

Until then I look forward to my own in-flight entertainment on my bargain airline flight to Greece rather than be forced to watch “Step up 2”!!!!

PS I downloaded ‘There Will be Blood’ first

I signed up for the $30 deal, with $10 added bonus. I downloaded 3 Movies, and my account has no credit left.

So 3 movie downloads cost me $40, which is totally unacceptable. I wouldnt reccomend this site to anyone.

I dont mind paying for downloads, but I do mind being ripped off!!!

I downloaded one movie and it went very fast. Also was able to watch and burn. Only issue I have right now is I cannot get into the site. There are a host of PHP errors coming up on the screen.

I have successfully watched one of the movies I downloaded from MovieFiesta.com on my TV/DVD player. It wasn't that hard to do. After signing up, I downloaded some movies (using a download manager) and then found an application that will convert the AVI file to a format for DVD (VOB files).

The application I used is ConvertXtoDVD 3. This application is very easy to use and allows you to build your own custom menu system for the resulting movie. I 'found' a crack on the net to give me full access so that I don't get the trial watermark on the movies, and I tested the resulting disc this morning - presto! It worked. ConvertXtoDVD even burned the DVD files to a DVD disc for me.

Because of the ease of using this conversion software, I would now have to say that using MovieFiesta.com is enjoyable for me. The movie quality is perfect and I can have a movie chosen-downloaded-converted-burned to disc in one evening....not bad. It's just too bad this information isn't provided on MovieFiesta.com.

Btw, the first movie I burned to disc and will be watching this evening: American History X

hi nathan. I have the same question. went as far as opening the payment page, they want credit card information, but page is not encrypted, despite the hosts claim to do so. I am not gonna take the chance to put credit card info out there. let me know if you find out something positive. Good luck

I signed up to MovieFiesta.com when it was shown to me by a relative. They hadn't tried it and wanted to know what I think of it. We both had used mp3fiesta for a while and have been very happy with it so thought that this would be similar.

The setup is similar and signing up IS free, but you need to buy 'credits' to be able to download. Movies formatted for mibile devices (Ipod, PSP etc.) are 1.99 US, movies formatted for PC (*.avi format) are 2.99 and full resolution files for DVD/TV are 3.99 (this isn't advertized on the splash screen).

Download of the files is really fast. I used a download manager (GetRight with acceleration turned on) and an 800mb movie downloaded in about 20 minutes for me. The files are encoded with all of the audio streams intact which causes a problem for Windows Media Player - it can't process this so when I open the AVI file on my PC, I get great picture, but no sound. This is discussed on the site but getting around it isn't easy. You need to download a video CODEC that is provided on the site, and a different video player. That is what's required if you want to watch the movie on your PC. Once I did that, I was able to watch crystal clear movies with perfect audio....BUT!

I cannot burn the movies to DVD to watch on my TV DVD player. Nero won't process them because it says that it cannot handle this video format to create a Video-DVD.

There is no clear contact info on the MovieFiesta.com website but there is a Support link. That gives an online form that can be filled out. I filled out the form 2 days ago and still haven't recieved a response. If I figure out a way to get them onto disc or get a response, I will update this comment.

For now, I would have to say 'sign-up with caution'. Like I said, you can watch them on PC relatively easily (after downloading a few extra files) but so far, getting them onto disc is not working for me.

Btw, the first movie I downloaded and watched from this site was Cloverfield. I thoroughly enjoyed it.
