Zombie Survival Kit now available on Amazon

It is however, missing a Franchi SPAS-12 semi automatic combat shotgun, a map indicating the location of a good place to hole up ‘until it all blows over’, and of course a Land Rover or similar that has been DIY armoured with chicken wire. Other than that, it’s a pretty good start.

Femme fatale Olga Rodionova is a well-known beauty who moves in Moscow’s fashion and jet set circles. When her adoring husband, a powerful Russian oligarch, sought to have special portraits made of his wife, he asked none other than Bettina Rheims - an unusual request for a photographer of Rheims’s stature.

EPIC FAIL - OF GALACTIC PROPORTIONS

That utterly bizarre McCann Erickson Manchester video is back online again. I mean seriously, what the fuck?

Useful little tool

I just came across this on my puter, having forgotten it was there. Paparazzi for OS X is a nice little app that lets you screen shot an entire web page, as you can see below, though rotated and resized so it fits, the actual image is several thousand pixels long.

Terrible Movie, Lovely Interfaces

So I watched Babylon AD last night, terrible movie but it did have some remarkably well realised, and actually for a movie, realistic user interfaces in it, (yeah, it also had the usual Minority Report bollocks) these are the highlights:

Above: Fairly straightforward, though you can’t see the Google logo in this screen shot, a simple multi stream news terminal / TV, in the home. The nice thing here is that most OS’s these days still struggle with displaying more than a couple of video streams at once.

A bigger, touch screen version of the previous UI, again nothing ground breaking, but well executed.

You can’t really see it here, but the wrap around strip on the Taxi scrolls to let us know it’s occupied and the languages spoken by the driver…

The interior of an Armoured Personnel Carrier, the exterior is displayed on a series of wrap around LCD displays to give the illusion of windows, though here in night vision mode (it also serves as a standard head up display).
